Dr. Wilbrink received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, graduating with the highest distinction and with clinic honours. During his studies, he earned the following awards:
- The John W. A. Duckworth Memorial Award in Anatomy for achieving the highest academic standing in the anatomy courses during his studies
- The Orthotic Group Excellence in Biomechanics Scholarship Award for being in the top five students in clinical biomechanics
- The John M. Wallace Memorial Scholarship for achieving the second highest academic standing in his second year of studies
Dr. Wilbrink is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, and the College of Chiropractors of Ontario. He stays current on chiropractic and pain science developments by reading many books and articles and by attending various courses and conferences.
Dr. Wilbrink is one of the few chiropractors in the area trained in the PulStar multiple impulse therapy chiropractic technique to effectively treat pain. Outside of the clinic, he also consults on WSIB claims and provides Back Pain Prevention Assessment and Training for businesses.
